Every 6 months the Angular team releases a new major version of Angular based on the semantic versioning strategy. The next major release is version 6.0.0 and there are several compelling updates and additions that will enhance the platform. This course will cover a preview of what is upcoming as well as a detailed look at the minor releases that have come out since the release of version 5.0.0.
We will cover the release strategy in more detail to get a better understanding of the versioning and what to expect with each release, as well as review the updates that came with version 5.0.0 and ways to take advantage of them. Then we will do a quick overview of the interesting milestones planned for version 6.0.0 and the minor releases since 5.0.0.
This course will deep dive into some key features that have released since 5.0.0 and walk through some examples of how they can be put into practice. It will also go into more detail on some of the planned milestones, breaking down what they have in store and what it will mean for us as end users of the Angular platform.
